Excel Export
The Project Analytics Dashboard lets you export all dashboard data to a professionally styled Excel file with a single click. The export contains four worksheets covering every aspect of your project data.
How to Export​
- Click the spreadsheet icon in the dashboard header.
- A styled
.xlsxfile downloads immediately to your browser's default download location.
The export respects your active filters. Apply filters first to export only the data you need.
The xlsxwriter Python library must be installed on your Odoo server. Install it with pip install xlsxwriter. If it is missing, the export button displays a friendly error message.
Worksheet 1: Dashboard Overview​
The first sheet provides a high-level summary with the same metrics shown in the stat cards.
Included fields: Total Projects, Total Tasks, Total Employees, Completed Tasks, Pending Tasks, Overdue Tasks, Completion Percentage, and Productivity Score.
Worksheet 2: Project Progress​
A per-project breakdown showing completion status for every project in your portfolio.
Columns include: Project Name, Total Tasks, Completed Tasks, Pending Tasks, and Progress Percentage.
Worksheet 3: Recent Tasks​
The most recent tasks exported in a tabular format for quick review or sharing.
Columns include: Task Name, Project, Stage, and Status.
Worksheet 4: Departments​
Department-level data showing employee distribution across your organization.
Columns include: Department Name and Employee Count.
Styling​
All worksheets include professional formatting with:
- Bold headers with coloured backgrounds
- Auto-sized column widths
- Consistent font and alignment
- Styled for direct use in presentations or reports
